Chongqing Wonjan-Suzuki Engine Co., Ltd. was founded in 1993 as a joint investment by Suzuki Motor Corporation, Qinglibao Investment Co., Ltd., and state-owned military industrial enterprise Wangjiang (Wonjan) Machinery Machine Manufacturing Central Station. Wonjan-Suzuki has cooperated closely with Chongqing Aihua Machine and Electronic Co., Ltd. since establishing supply-demand relations in 2004.
Some USD 90 million has been invested in the development of advanced facilities, manufacturing techniques, and assembly lines. Wonjan-Suzuki Engine Co., Ltd. produces over 30 models and 150 varieties of motorcycles, scooters, dirt bikes, and ATVs. Annual production output is approximately 1.5 million complete vehicles and 2 million engines. Products are sold domestically within China as well as worldwide.
