Total Quality Management at Aihua Motors
Quality Control Manager / Assistant:
The employee managing or assisting in quality management at Aihua Motors establishes, implements, and maintains the quality control plan from the beginning of the product development stage to the end, continually improving on effectiveness. Checklists for evaluation on management, processing, and products are organized and implemented on a regular basis to ensure total quality management. After evaluations, the quality control manager analyzes collected information and organizes appropriate departments to take action on improving their effectiveness on the quality of the automobile and motorcycle parts they are producing.
Quality Engineer:
The quality engineer establishes, maintains, and improves the standard quality level through the entire quality management plan. It is their responsibility to supervise and improve the employee’s ability to achieve the level of quality for every product they produce with the tools they are using. Customer comments are collected, analyzed, and used to improve the quality of appropriate departments. The quality engineer is required to acquire an associate degree in management or engineering with at least two years work experience in quality management. It is also expected that they holds an ISO9001:2000 or ISO/TS 16949 internal inspection certificate or a title of quality engineering technician. This employee is skilled in analyzing the process control, measurement system, variable management system, and using statistics software for evaluation of production.
Measurement Specialist:
The measurement specialist promotes, implements, and supervises the measurement standard that all operations need to follow in every department. This employee needs to decide on what tools are needed to measure production at Aihua Motors. This includes keeping track of inventory, rating employees and departments, adjustments, repairs, and scraps. The measurement specialist creates and implements plans and regulations to maintain instrument calibration to ensure quality during production. This employee also records and announces measurement statistics and trains employees how to operate and maintain the measurement tools properly.
The requirements for the measurement specialist include a major in engineering with a technical secondary school certificate and at least three years measurement experience with a professional technical training certificate. The measurement specialist is familiar with technical standards, measurement regulations, measurement calibration, and is skilled in measurement tool operation and repair.
Experimentation Supervisor:
The experimentation supervisor creates and implements development laboratory plans, calibrates and inspects records and reports, and experimenting while manufacturing. It is this employee’s duty to assist the development department to achieve new products and techniques with new materials. The experimentation supervisor trains and supervises testers of new development while organizing equipment to use for the tests. This employee is required to have an associate degree in engineering with at least three years work experience. The employee is familiar with experimental standards and is skilled in using the GB2828 sampling standard, office software, and implementing laboratory management.
Product Tester:
The product tester accomplishes experimental tasks according to the experimental rules and standards of Aihua Motors and records data according to regulation. This employee is responsible for managing experimental samples and maintenance of equipment. The requirements of the product tester are to have a major from their technical secondary school. This employee is familiar with the procedures and standards of the experimentation task.
Quality Statistician:
The quality statistician establishes and maintains the rules and regulations of the quality management and is responsible for managing and distributing quality documents, data, and files. The requirements of the quality statistician include technical secondary school, at least two years of experience in the electric motor manufacturing industry, at least one year of statistic work, and skilled in office software.
Examination Clerks:
PQA Examination Clerk:
The PQA examination clerk inspects samples of the finished product and measures quality differences between products during production and semi-finished products that are in the warehouse. This employee also instructs the manufacturing staff on what needs to be improved and inspects the production process again to check to see if any defects have been resolved.
FQA Examination Clerk:
The FQA examination clerk inspects warehouse inventory and products being shipped to clients. Customer complaints, product returns, and inspection reports are handled by the examination clerk. This employee also organizes and finds reasons of packaging problems of Aihua Motors’ products.
IQC Examination Clerk:
The IQC examination clerk is responsible for inspection and identification of inventory manufactured by other companies. This employee reports what was returned from other companies and inspects samples from returning inventory and determines if it can be reported as scrap.
PQC Examination Clerk:
The PQA examination clerk is responsible for quality inspection of the first and last product during production. Reports and plans are made about quality during the entire production process.
The examination clerks require a major in engineering and a technical secondary school certificate with at least one year work experience in quality inspection. This employee is skilled in using general measurement tools and the sampling standard GB2828. The examination clerk is familiar with duties, inspection instructions, and standards of Aihua Motors.
